Mission Statement

Summit Winterguard strives to create a healthy learning environment for young adults to acquire outstanding character, discipline, and values. Our goal is to promote an alcohol and drug-free organization that focuses on a healthy approach to competition. Our mission is to provide the Northwest with a group that recognizes the needs of the community, and continues to evolve with the growth of the colorguard idiom.

Goals:

• Re-establish a presence of independent winterguard in the Portland area
• Promote recruitment and growth for local youth organizations
• Provide a positive outlet for students to experience personal growth in colorguard
• Build future young educators for the colorguard community
• Be competitively successful within our classification
